The skills of a boiler smith are needed all the time now in order to keep the steam fleet up and running.Its not only important that these boys are kept busy which I feel is not a problem, but training up new people is a must.If you are looking to train new boiler smiths at your railway then let people know by putting a trainee boiler smith wanted advert on this site or anything along those lines.

UK Mainline Steam
This proud firemen is seen sat enjoying a moment of calm after a run out with brand new A1 "Tornado"....Mainline steam on the UK's rail network we are glad to report does seem to be doing very well.
If you are a rail tour company,you can advertise here on this site in order to help keep the bookings coming in. After all where better to see a loco really stretch its legs than out on the UK'S mainline rail network.

2010 and Tornado is doing very well out on the UK mainline
Who would of thought that long after the so called demise of steam we would be blessed with one of the biggest things the preserved steam movement has seen yet.....Last year saw the brand new Peppercorn A1 "Tornado" come to life and really take the UK's rail network in its stride.It has been performing very well and fair play to the people involved with building her.
If you have a loco under restoration the costs are not cheap by any means..By submitting your advert on our page you can help gain that vital exposure in order to help get donations or even get new share holders involved in your project. People can only help if they know what it is your doing. |
